Pioneering the only way forward Together.

Formed in 2023 by President and Founder Steven P Kelly in Fort Walton Beach Florida the mission of HunterGathererClub is to connect as many Hunters, Gardeners, Anglers with each other as possible. By being designated as a 501(c7) Social club, the members of HGC are able to connect with one another through club functions by-passing significant barriers. Millions of Americans have never known the feeling of stalking an elk or proclaiming “FISH ON!”. Our club is going to change that.

We may not all be good at everything, but one of us is good at something.

There are over 80 million license holding anglers, 150 million licensed hunters, and an estimated 300 million home gardens. All of these Americans are encouraged to join. All types of hunting, fishing and agriculture will be allowed membership. Why? Just imagine the raw amount of information sharing, resource distribution, networking and life changing experiences that can be had by putting us all in one club.

Mobile application in development. The year is 2023, we need an app.

We will conform to all current laws and regulations per state guidelines. It will be up to club members to be knowledgeable of and adhere to hunting, fishing, and agricultural laws in each state.

Our club will be a key ally to the Fish and Wildlife service, the EPA, and the FDA. Yes allies, we all have the same mission. Health and Conservation.

Our club is the first to attempt this. No other entity has attempted to bring hunters, anglers and gardeners into one cohesive club. The market is prime for us.

How did this come about? Pretty simple, the President Steven Kelly was frustrated by working a full-time job and having to be on government assistance to feed his family. The government assistance was not enough support for him to feed his family. Out of frustration and necessity he began to research what he could physically do to “put food on the table”. Other than switching to an all-fish diet, he had no options. This is where the brainstorming began, and he envisioned a system where he could trade his legally caught Redfish for two lbs. of deer meat. With his knowledge of hunting, fishing and several agricultural practices the answer was simple “Form your own club where members can help each other free from interference”.

Hunter Gatherer Club sees itself as the leading club in America in 5-10 years. We expect club dues to generate over 500 million dollars in that time. Where will that money go? Right back into the members. Club by-laws set forth salaries of employees, return of investment percentages and every other detail. Our club will be a force to be reckoned with because our club IS the people. We look forward to purchasing Club real estate, investing in conservation, investing into education, investing into individual members and dozens of other philanthropic activities.

501(c7) status places a cap on how much “outside” funding a social club will receive. This is important for large corporations who wish to advertise their products in our club space. Yes, they may donate funds, however it will be up to HGC staff to keep donations within government regulations or the club could lose 501(c7) status. An amazing alternative to this would be for businesses to purchase their employees’ club membership. If every employee of Bass Pro shop was a club member… the advertisement writes itself. This is a win-win situation for the club, its members and retailers everywhere. This system also protects smaller entities. Both Bass pro-shop with all 40,000 employees and the local mom and pop shop will be able to claim “Our business is a club member”.

We will execute our plans through a democratic approach. Every member will be able to submit a vote on a key topic utilizing their unique club ID. Debates will be had, discussions will be led and the majority of large-scale purchases will be decided via majority vote. To ensure this system does not go awry, the President of HGC will lay out the options for members to vote on. This will ensure that something of comedic value will not cost club members millions of dollars and only practical items will be purchased.

The duties and responsibilities of all Chair people and employees will be laid out in the Club by-laws. By-Laws will be read and agreed to before membership is granted.
